Boyce Financial Services awarded the Lonsdale Financial Group Practice of the Year

1 January 2006

Boyce Financial Services (BFS) was recently awarded the Lonsdale Financial Group Practice of the Year at the Lonsdale and IOOF Alliances annual conference. In a fiercely contested field, BFS was awarded the accolade for the third occasion having previously attained the title in 2014 and 2011.

Lonsdale Financial Group supports a network of more than 120 financial planning practices and 250 financial advisors from across Australia. The “Lonsdale Practice of the Year” award is bestowed annually to a practice judged on deliverance of exceptional advice, investing in professional development and enduring commitment to clients. In presenting the award to BFS, Mark Stephen CEO of Lonsdale, congratulated the BFS on the “outstanding achievement” of attaining the title not once but on three separate occasions.

“Boyce Financial Services is a valued member of the Lonsdale network and consistently delivers an exceptional level of service and advice to clients.”

The award is the highest honour given to a practice based on revenue growth, positive compliance ratings, continual knowledge improvement through participation at forums and professional development days, professionalism and alignment to Lonsdale network values.

2017 marked a year of significant legislative change to the financial planning industry. A number of new legislative demands were implemented to raise the professional, ethical and education standards of the financial planning industry. BFS welcomed the proposed changes and recently introduce a new financial adviser, Angus Stevenson to assist the ongoing growth of the business.

Lindsay Garnock, director of BFS admitted to been initial shocked at the announcement. The past 12 month BFS had been internally focused on continuing to improve business efficiencies and enhancing client service offering. Lindsay credited the award to a byproduct of the continuing hard work and genuine care for clients across the entire BFS team.

“Our commitment to client care and to a transparent and fair pricing structure has helped the business grow and attract clients from inside and outside the Boyce Chartered Accountants’ network,” said Mr Garnock.”BFS invests in clients’ personal and business lives, and by having a greater understanding of personal circumstances allows us to tailor our recommendations to individual goals and aspirations”.

This future-focused attitude of BFS was acknowledged by Lonsdale as part of the award selection process.

Mr Garnock admits that it is great to be recognised and awarded by peers, but the real test of the success of the business is in helping to maximise the wealth of clients – an aim that he and his team of advisors are intent on continuing to work hand in hand with their clients to achieve best overall outcome.
